| Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - Carolina Panthers starting right tackle Jeff Otah will miss at least the club's season-opener on Sunday, since his recovery from off-season knee surgery is taking longer than expected. Head coach John Fox said during training camp that he hoped the 6-foot-6, 330-pounder could return in time for the season opener September 12 against the New York Giants.
